While this blog is primarily a creative outlet and a way for an ex-teacher to keep helping people, it may also pay me. A little. Since the FTC (Federal Trade Commission) requires bloggers to let the public know if a post was endorsed by a company, I thought I’d start out the right way, with a disclosure statement.
*I won’t promote something that I don’t personally believe to be a good product or service.
*I promise to tell the truth.
As you’ve probably noticed if you’ve spent much time on my site, honesty and transparency is important to me.
*It’s important to me to provide value to you as a greatly-appreciated reader (and perhaps someday a friend, as we build a relationship).
I will also protect your privacy. That means I will not ever sell your email. (Who would do that to a friend?)
*I may or may not note in individual posts whether a link provides affiliate income for us.
I certainly hope it does, though, since right now we have only one full-time income since I stay at home with Baby J. So, if you decide that a product we liked would also be useful in your home, and you buy through our links: THANK YOU!
We are a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for us to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites. In addition, we participate in the affiliate program for Bluehost, which makes sense because it’s the webhosting company we use and with which we are currently very happy.
*Your privacy is important to us.
We respect your privacy and don’t attempt to collect information about you except for inviting you to sign up for our newsletter. For that, you simply give your name and email address. We will not track or sell any information about our readers.
I really want to have a conversation with you, so please, please comment on posts and pages. And please also be kind in your words to other commenters. Even though we can’t see each other on the Internet, there are real faces and emotions behind these screens!
