When you’ve been invited to a potluck, often the best and easiest thing to do is load up your crockpot and prepare a large dish of deliciousness. You can cook anything from chicken to soup to dessert to bread in a slow-cooker. And if you’re wondering, “What’s a potluck?” here’s Merriam Webster Dictionary’s definition:
1a: the regular meal available to a guest for whom no special preparations have been made
b: a communal meal to which people bring food to share —usually used attributively “a potluck supper”
2: whatever is offered or available in given circumstances or at a given time
I’m referring to the communal meal. Yes, I know some folks are completely “grossed out” by the idea of eating food they didn’t watch get prepared in a home that doesn’t get inspected by the Health Department. But I, for one, love our biweekly potluck “fellowship meals” at our church. And if you, too, are a potluck fan, then this compilation of 25 delicious slow-cooker recipes is exactly what you need! 🙂

Vegetable Side Dishes in Slow-Cooker
- Slow-Cooked Ratatouille
- Scalloped Taters (as unhealthy as it gets in the veggie world!)

- Slow Roasted Ranch Veggies
- Crockpot Quinoa and Vegetables (perfect when you know there will be healthy-eaters at a potluck)
Slow-Cooker Soups

Slow-Cooker Breads and Desserts
-
7 Minute (Prep) Artisan Crock Pot Bread (You will want to slice this before everyone goes through the serving line. A loaf is too daunting for most people just trying to fill their plate.)

- Crockpot Apple Dump Cake
- Slow Cooker Brownies
- Slow Cooker Pumpkin Streusel Coffee Cake
