Looking for something you can prepare ahead of time for guests? I often make my simplest meals for guests so that we have time to visit. (Otherwise, I’m standing in a cloud of steam by the stove while people begin arriving.) Lately, I’ve been looking for crockpot meals for company (beside my standby Italian Chicken), especially with winter getting closer. Crockpot meals aren’t just for when you’ll be in a hurry. They’re perfect for when you want to be relaxed when it’s time to serve the meal.
Here is the list of delicious crockpot meals I’ve collected from some wonderful websites:

Pulled Chicken for Tacos
-
Swedish Meatballs
-
Slow-Cooked Chicken Biryani
Biryani is so good but can be tricky. I was really excited to find this crockpot version of it–for adventurous guests only!
-
Fall-Off-the-Bone Slow Cooker Glazed Ribs
-
Slow-Cooked Ratatouille
-
Slow-Cooker Oatmeal with Apples and Ginger
For those weekends with guests when you want to wake up to a simple breakfast already cooked and hot for you.

Slow Cooker Texas Pulled Pork
One of my favorite recipes, although I’ve made some adjustments over numerous times of making it. (Omit the oil, for one–the pork already has plenty of fat!) This recipe freezes really well.

A recipe for lazy days.
-
San Francisco Pork Chops
-
Slow Cooker Lasagna
This recipe is for those of you who don’t have an Italian husband who turns his nose up at cottage cheese in lasagna. Ricotta all the way, folks…
-
Ultimate Beef Stroganoff
Falling-apart-tender and juicy, the meat in this dish makes a hearty, appealing main course. (I would serve it over egg noodles!)
