While some of these options have lots of extra decorative detail, you wouldn’t have to do so much for a simple workbench. Old dressers already have drawers for storing small bags of potting soil and pots, and they’re usually about the right height. (A quick coat of water sealant might be a good idea if the dresser will be exposed to the rain.) Or if you do have pallets, you can even put one up on legs like Lovely Greens did:
I love that she used what she had without going to tons of extra work to make it look beautiful. Sometimes you don’t have time for that (although we all enjoy the results of the hard work of painting and adding chicken wire!), and you don’t need to let fear of imperfection stop you from doing any projects at all around the house!
If you don’t feel quite so crafty, you can also check out options in nearby flea markets or online. There are dozens of options for making potting plants not quite so hard on your back!
